Total drainage volume for the whole region in 2006 was 2406.8m3/s, and it was predicted to increase to 5181.3m3/s in 2020 [1]. The average drainage coefficient for the year from 2010 to 2020 will be 7.0 l/s per hectar, three and a haft time higher than the average drainage coefficient for the period from 1954 to 1973; 1.8 times higher than 1973 to 1976 and 1.3 times higher than 1976 to 2000. This article aims to provide the primary analysis of objective (drainage requirement) and subjective factors (socio-economic condition, psychology, information, etc) influencing on the demand of drainage. The out come shows that the draingae demand seems to be impacted by subjective factors rather than objective ones.)

It plays an increasingly important role in the socio-economic development of many districts and provinces in Vietnam. Therefore, it needs to be well planned and managed with the aid of spatial information technologies such as Remote Sensing (RS), Geographic Information System (GIS) and Global Positioning System (GPS). This paper presents the results of building a GIS database for ecotourism development in Ba Vi, a large legendary mountainous district of Ha Tay Province based on field and desk investigations. The created database consists of spatial and attributive data files related to natural and cultural resources in Ba Vi stored in a standard format of ArcView GIS that can and should be effectively retrieved, analyzed and updated to generate useful information in the form of maps, tables and charts to support ecotourism planning and management activities in the district for sustainable development.)

Moreover, studies have warned about serious degree of influence of climate change (CC) on Vietnam, particularly on the water resources. Therefore, assess CC impacts on water balances are very necessary task. The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment has completed the appropriate climate change scenarios in Vietnam [1]. In this study, water balance results will be presented including three scenarios: high emissions scenario (A2), medium emission scenario (B2), and low emission scenario (B1). The water balanced in Hong-Thai Binh river basin was calculated, which is one of the largest basins in Vietnam. The basin is very complicated: Under the influence of flow regime of international rivers [2], a system of reservoirs and irrigation structures serving diverse purposes, such as of water supply, irrigation, flood control and hydropower [3-5]. MIKE BASIN model was applied to describe exploitation, utilization and to identify the water shortage areas according to the climate change scenarios.)

However in recent years, the marine systems has gotten many negative impacts due to environmental pollution, especially the risks due to oil spill event as Vietnam is a quite large exploiter and importer-exporter of petroleum. To identify exactly the loss due to oil spill event, the people use the evaluation methods. These losses are important base to implement the punishment, and are the foreseeable information channel for Ministries, agencies in development project and strategy reducing loss due to oil spill event.)

To promote this linkage, the acticle goes to a deep analysis of benefits for two sides, mechanism of linkage and conditions for a success. The benefits are a cost-saving thanks to an access to needed human resource for the busineses on the one hand and a final framework of requested skills as well as an assisstance in financial resource for schools. Mechanism of linkage is start from bussinesses with an identification of skill package and then school will work with business to define training technology and other training inputs. However, for a sucessful linkage attentions should be paid to leaderships, development strategy, supporting policies and an efficient co-working group by two sides.)
